Well, it's official. It's a ruptured Achilles tendon for Kevin Durant. He already had surgery and is expected to be out for 6-9 months. That means he'll be out for the most, if not the entire, 2019-20 NBA Season.

Dang that sucks.

If he is wise, he will just take the entire season off and focus entirely on his recovery.  Overdoing it will just prolong his recovery and likely make any comeback worse.  Better to take a season, maybe even one amd a half, off and recover well than overexert himself and cause more damage.

Dang it when I said I wanted the Warriors to lose after they got Cousins this isn't what I meant! D:

Man, if the Warriors pull off a comeback, they can definitively say they didn't need Durant.

No, if the Warriors pull off a comeback, the Raptors can stake their claim for the greatest choke job in NBA Finals history.

In about 20 minutes, Game 6 will start, and regardless of the outcome, it will be the final game ever played at Oracle.

I'm always amazed by the amount of time the Warriors spend NOT running the offense through Curry. There's so many quarters where he's in the game like almost every minute, and he barely even touches the ball. Baffling to me.

The Warriors might be battered and down a big star but they're making a fight of it.

Don't think this will happen, but there would be something quite amusing about it if they came back from a 3-1 Finals deficit, after being the first team in Finals history to themselves blow that kind of lead just a few years back.

Warriors are legit cursed in these playoffs

Same leg as game 2 as well.  Probably a coincidence given it seems a different kind of injury.

Very frustrating to see a series with so much potential get the air taken out of it time and again
