Uhm...I hope Sony corrects the main limit of the NES/SNES mini: the lack of a digital store to expand your library.

Wow lots of negative comments in here from ppl who have no intention of buying it.

If you don’t like it or don’t want it, don’t buy it. And don’t come in here posting hateful comments.

But this has gone on too long...if you feel it isn't a bit embarrassing, who am I to tell you you're wrong. This is how I feel about it. 

Nintendo has mastered the act of taking something existing and turning it into a success. That's not a bad thing but stop pretending like Nintendo invented everything while every other company copied them.

Let's move on from the "it's embarrassing/sad/laughable/etc." comments, shall we?

After what XB said here, it wouldn't look so great on them to release a classic/mini. Then again, PS have done exactly that, and they've all backtracked or 180'd over the years so.

Did I say Nintendo invented everything? You're now putting words in my mouth just to prove your point. I didn't say Nintendo Invented anything... and no, I'll continue to say it's embarrassing because that's how I feel about it. Like I said, you don't make something like this, a rival, competitor device, with the same naming scheme and don't expect people to point it out. You're bringing up facts that I'm not arguing to make a point in an argument I didn't make. It doesn't work like that...

i dont know... $100 is steep, and the ps1 games dont hold up very well, have you seen any recently? it changed my mind about it.

though if i could put loaded, and reloaded on it, maybe? run around syphon filter and taser guys until they are smoking for a few minutes.. tony hawk might get me to move on it... its a big maybe.

Well, so far you've only been in this thread to bitch about how Sony copied Nintendo's use of the word "Classic". If that's not an example of the awfully "Nintendo invented everything", I don't know what is.

That'd literally be akin to derail a thread just to call Nintendo "embarrassing, unoriginal and cheesy" because they named their online service Nintendo "Network" – the same naming scheme used by the rivaling PlayStation "Network". Do you see how dumb that is?
