And you are aware that Nintendo didn't have Wii patents before the PS Wand? Come on... And if they really cared about the "PS Wand" they would have taken the Wii technology that was shopped around to Sony and Microsoft (which they laughed away) before coming to Nintendo and Nintendo accepted the idea. We don't know exactly when a device was conceived or prototyped, only finished and that's all that matters in the technological world. Nobody remembers Xerox for the computer mouse...do they?

I'm not saying the name doesn't make sense....that's not my argument. My argument is that it's unoriginal and cheesy due to the fact its coming out right after the NES and SNES Classic. I thought Sony wanted to do everything they could to be different from Nintendo. You don't come out with a console like this, have the same suffix as your rival and don't expect people to point it out. I mean really, as rivals they were just asking for it.

But this has gone on too long...if you feel it isn't a bit embarrassing, who am I to tell you you're wrong. This is how I feel about it.

Nintendo has mastered the act of taking something existing and turning it into a success. That's not a bad thing but stop pretending like Nintendo invented everything while every other company copied them.

Let's move on from the "it's embarrassing/sad/laughable/etc." comments, shall we?

Did I say Nintendo invented everything? You're now putting words in my mouth just to prove your point. I didn't say Nintendo Invented anything... and no, I'll continue to say it's embarrassing because that's how I feel about it. Like I said, you don't make something like this, a rival, competitor device, with the same naming scheme and don't expect people to point it out. You're bringing up facts that I'm not arguing to make a point in an argument I didn't make. It doesn't work like that...
