Well that was expected, i have not seen many people excited for this game anyway, which is weird coming from the last Battlefield game that had so much hype to it now it's a hate bandwagon.. the GP is hard to please sometimes and i kind lf feel bad for DICE since i'm sure the game will be better than people think.

I'm not gonna ever buy the game myself after the things they have said, but this is a smart move. GIve your game some breathing a fair distance away COD and RDR, while giving a month extra development time to add requested featured/have a more complete game at launch. But at the same time, arriving just in time to not miss black friday.

So what you're saying is, even if it turns out to be the best FPS in history, you wouldn't even try it?

Ironically this might actually be the first Battlefield game I've gotten since 4. I just really hunger for a large scale multiplayer game that perfectly balances """realism""" with fun. Then again, this is Battlefield and DICE, so it probably won't be a good game. I'll probably still skip it, but hopefully they make some meaningful improvements.

Well the quotes arent the only reason I'm not getting it. It's EA as well. he company that infested SW Battlefront 2 and Need for Speed Payback with excessive microtransactions, as well as regularly shutting studios, like visceral, black box, and maxis.

My friend shares his EA Access with me, so maybe when it hits there I might give it a try.

I guess they’re hoping to scrounge up some preorders once both BO4 and RDR2 are out in the wild. Doubt it’s going to change much, if anything at all.

The actual game itself looks really good, imo, I never bought BF1 and never much liked it but this looks good and I did enjoy BF 2, 3 and 4. Squad play looks better than ever and the WWII setting is a huge plus for me.

It was DICE CEO who made the remarkable comment of haters being uneducated, which going by the reveal trailer was the majority of the community. He said it himself, don't buy it if you don't like their decisions. It was also DICE who chose to use their creative freedom to include women in a setting and position where they didn't belong, with technology and weapons that didn't belong there.

It was also DICE who fucked up Star Wars Battlefront 2 by having that sorry excuse of a single player campaign. Its not that they aren't talented, but they aren't any less of an asshole as EA is and fit to have the position of EA's top original AAA IP.

It's like they think they are trying to avoid being mauled to death, but all they are doing is them backing themselves into a corner, and then being mauled. They can try as hard as they can to get away from those 2-3 games, but they'll still suffer before and after their respective launches. EA would have done better to have it ready by Jan-Feb 2019, when the game would have come fully completed, with all the content ready for launch day,a s well as getting Raytracing for the RTX cards polished.

Instead they'll launch a little later, with a likely lack of polish, missing content and a high asking price. It's just going to fail.
