I think you're being quite harsh.

Xbox is basically trying to deliver better CPU and Nintendo is still recovering from the worst console ever, just releasing Wii U ports. In the meantime, PS4 is just full of high quality games for all tastes. It's just the #1 console of this generation.

LOL at the standard for console gaming. weak third party support, much weaker then home consoles that released 4 years ago, and over priced accessories, and games, we got last us remaster, and uncharted collection basically free with hardware, or 19.99-29.99 can't remember, mean while nintendo charges 60$ for ports not even remastered or remade.

Good point. If we want to find a company that is all about money, that's Nintendo. The most expensive products come from Nintendo for no reason.

My point is: Nintendo WILL announce more consols shipped/sold/whatever, and here in the Neverland they're implying that have what? 2-3 million on shelves? c'mon.

I mean the Switch hasn't really been selling like hotcakes this year. But it has been doing very well. So the 17.7 seem reasonable. Maaybe slightly under tracked but not by a huge margin. 2-2.5million on shelves sounds pretty normal....especially during the slow months like this.
