I'm not sure why you're including anything on PS4 Pro, since that's a different console than what people bought originally, and I'm only referring to the PS4.

Great games running at 60fps will always be my preference:

I think that’s almost everyone’s preference. But most people won’t skip a great game locked at 30fps. Unless in their mind a feature that’s most games don’t have (60fps) is the most important thing in gaming. Which I don’t think would be wise for a gamer.

That's fine if your system has Breath of the Wild. What did PS4 have it's first two or so years, Bloodborne?
I love Bloodborne and Souls games personally, but it's hardly a wide-reaching, console selling mega-hit. In terms of having an actual game library, PS4 didn't feel that relevant until just last year.

So not only were they slow as hell pushing out some worthwhile exclusives, pretty much none of them hit 60fps. Bravo.
Forgive me if I'm not jumping up and down in anticipation for PS5, seeing as I was unfortunately a launch day PS4 owner.

Well you found a way to get in some ps4 bashing, completely offtopic. Nice Job!

If people are gonna fill this thread with their unbridled love for Sony and Playstation, I feel like I'm allowed to at least balance the scales with my genuine experience as an owner.

LOL how did this become sony vs nintendo.  As far as a game being a console mega hit, who cares, ps4 doesn't need that  to sell, so not sure why it matters if the game is a mega hit or not as long it a amazing game for you. As for switch really only has wiiu games aside from Mario odyssey, if you have a wiiu, its really not worth getting a switch unless you love portability.

It's not about Sony vs Nintendo, but it's not like there's anything comparable I could show from Xbox is there? Microsoft are busy sitting in the corner by themselves right now, while Nintendo are busy setting the standard for console gaming.
Playstation as you've quite aptly put are only focused on their wallet right now, and figuring out a way they can monopolize Fortnite. Good for them I guess.

I won’t knock Switch, but it’s just crazy to see a guy say how important 60fps is and then turn around and tout a console that mostly does 720p. Also, apparently PS4 not having a Breath Of The Wild didn’t hurt it one bit. I’m sure no one was torn between buying a PS4 due to lack of 60fps or purchasing Switch for BOTW. But this is where I get off because I feel like Shaunodon is ticked that this thread about console sales praised Sony for having the best console sales numbers. Good day, gentlemen.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

PlayStation are focused on delivering quality singleplayer games like the insanely popular Uncharted 4, GoW and Horizon, and we'll see how TLOU, Spiderman and Death Stranding are received.

"Nintendo are busy setting the standard for console gaming." Ugh.

Has nothing to do with sales, it's about their anti-consumer acts like most recently with Fortnite. I'm arguing with a guy who was literally praising Sony for trying to monopolize a game they didn't make, and saying they should be given credit because they made a Fortnite bundle.
Are you honestly defending that?

LOL at the standard for console gaming. weak third party support, much weaker then home consoles that released 4 years ago, and over priced accessories, and games, we got last us remaster, and uncharted collection basically free with hardware, or 19.99-29.99 can't remember, mean while nintendo charges 60$ for ports not even remastered or remade.

Did you miss my post where i said sony needs to fix the account lock problem, its BS. as for cross play it's Sony choice and i support them both ways.
