No actually, it is its 5th year.
PS4 came out in November 2013, it has had 4 full years on the market, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. So, yeah, it is entering its 5th year.

For comparison the 3DS did 233K for it's first January according to this site but do note that the 3DS had a 4 week January for sales recording in 2012 while the Switch had a 5 week January for 2017 ...
