It's the JRPG version of an shounen anime. Some of the Tales fall outside of that mold (I think Berseria and Vesperia for sure), but the majority of them are aimed specifically at 10-17 year boys.

Please don't do this to me.  I've collected a good handful of Tales games hoping I'll get into them sometime soon.  Might not be my cup of tea.

Why is it surprising lol. You can still have fun with them despite not being in that market. Pokemon is still enjoyed by teenagers and adults.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Check out MyAnimeList and my Game Collection. Owner of the 5 millionth post.

God of War, Dragon Age, Overwatch, Battlefront (cause EA greedy), Uncharted, Gears of War, World of Warcraft, Evil Within, Devil May Cry, .hack, Assassin's Creed, Ratchet and Clank, Knack, Tomb Raider, Skylanders

As good as the Mass Effect games look, I have never played them. It just seem like a chore. Oh well.

This in itself is true since I am a Mario and Ratchet and Clank fan.  But resources are limited so I must choose wisely...

Dragons Dogma!

Game looks really fun. Seeing the first E3 footage of a dude climbing all over a giant gryphon had my interest verily peaked!

It just doesn't look great enough for me to abandon the slew of other games I'm more interested in.

Like the idea of capcom doing a King of the Dragons thing!

Quite a few.
- haven't played Call of Duty since Black Ops 2
- haven't played Gran Turismo since GT3
- never played Bloodborne, Dark Souls, or Demon Souls
-Never played a single Fallout
-Never played a Mega Man
-only Pokemon game I've played was Pokemon Puzzle League (because it was basically Tetris Attack)

Most, to be honest, batman, ass creed, gears, halo, call of duty, Mario, battlefield, need for speed, *all yearly sports titles *, Gran Turismo, forza, dishonored, silent hill, tekken, resident evil, freaking loads of franchises i skip entirely.

The only positive is that I do so because they don't interest me, makes the yearly spend on games significantly less demanding when most of the stuff coming out doesn't appeal to you

Assassins Creed
Metal Gear Solid
First person Shooters aside from Halo
Fighting games
Popular JRPG''s aside from Nier and Souls games
Visual Novels
Everything with pixel art

On a side note, I've actually finished Halo 1 (anniversary), Halo 3, Halo 4, and Halo Reach. I always thought they were good games but, during my current playthrough of the MCC, I realized that I "didn't play them right".

It was always co-op and I never did anything but blast through the campaign with a friend. Now, I'm realizing how deep the franchise storyline is as I solo play my way through the entire series.

Monster hunter. Because it doesn't have a level up system. To get stronger you need to find certain materials and you don't know where to find them and i just can't be bothered with it.
