OP's premise is already on shaky grounds if we're only considering Pokemon games to begin with ... 

There's other franchises such as Minecraft, GTA, Super Mario, Wii and god forbid even annualized COD series managed to be competitive with Pokemon ... 

It does change what you said as all the Pokemon franchise needs is a little growth to become huge, and growth between R/S and D/P shows that Pokemon is capable of continuing to grow.

I don't necessarily agree with OP anyway, but that's just the facts of the matter.

Don't know about biggest thing ever, but it will certainly be bigger now that it isn't restricted to 4 inch screens!

Imo i think Ultrasun and moon should of been released on the Switch as they look so good in HD.

I'd say that it's still off from what the Switch could accomplish, and that it being released on 3DS is a way of giving the console of a final Pokemon send-off.

Because you inedvertedly compared two absolutly different market modles to make a skewed implied point that somehow this could affect the other 2. Glad to help you out bud

I would imagine so. I think Nintendo is just getting comfortable enough with the system's success to leave a few units for store shelves. 

Switch will definitely get impulse buys now that this is a reality.

Nothing inadvertently about it. Actually, it was quite deliberate. I said that neither Sony or Microsoft would be able to release an exclusive home console game that would be able to compete with Pokemon... a Nintendo home console exclusive. That's about as apples to apples as you can get (exclusives vs. exclusives within the same industry).
