XBX will sell far more than PS4 Pro because it is new. Pro is year old. So, many of the people that want it already have it. There has also been almost no marketing for it, while there has been a fair amount for XBX.

With that said, since I already have a Pro, I doubt that I'm going to spend $500 on a new console this year. If there was a big exclusive or two, I may think differently. But, there's not. Pro will be good enough for the multiplats.

I'm not so sure about that tbh...I even assume a lot of people haven't upgraded yet but will do this Christmas, especially those who've also recently bought or will buy a 4K TV. Especially if the Pro is 340,- or less.

But you're right, as can be seen in the recent Digital Foundry comparison of Assasin's Creed Origins, the Pro can definitely hold its own.

Another draw back many people are forgetting is you essentially need a good internet contract and a big external HDD for the X1X since game sizes seem to be 100GB-150GB due to the improved textures.

I think you're right that there will be a fair number of people upgrading this year.  4k TVs are dirt cheap here in the US, so most people that care about that stuff will probably own one by the end of the year.  Many of those new TV buyers will want a console that takes full advantage of that TV.  The thing is, XBX is the only one with significant marketing targeting those people.  The power advantage, and the "True 4k" PR speak will help as well.

If the PS4 Pro had a $50 price drop accompanied by a decent marketing campaign, it may be the console of choice for 2017 upgraders.  But, absent that, I don't see how it outsells XBX in North America.  Worldwide could be a different story.  I don't know enough about 4k adoption rates or pricing to have a real option there.

It seems you didn't read my previous post. The Pro can be had for 340,- Euros here in Europe and as far as I know from friends it's available for 340 dollars in the US as well, or 389,- with 2 games. I don't know the retailer but a quick google search will help you. Pretty sure it's a similar situation all over the planet.

Spencer said that the S is going to be the biggest seller going forward for Xbox so I'll go with his prediction. As far as PS4 vs. Xbox X? PS4 is the more popular console this generation and nothing is going to change that. The X may narrow the monthly gap but I don't see it crushing PS4. Next gen? That could be very different.

I think Sony is going to push pro deals in December. $350 pro and a $250 slim in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

WW PS4P would sell way more
US and GB - same

MS haven't made enough to sell enough.
PS4P wins, unless Nintendo have some BF deals, which is almost impossible.

Where can I buy a PS4 Pro for $349?

tough to call.

Xbox One and Xbox One X will be competing against themselves right?
