Smart move on their part.

And keeping games off another platform is hey Philly boy?

Pot kettle black at its finest lol.

Anyway we have Fortnite now which imo is superior so it's no longer a big loss.

This. From what I've seen of Fortnite, it looks like it's done battle royale better than PUGB. Still scummy from MS.

Another opportunistic comment by MS backfires. Stop the PR stunts MS because as you see they'll end up biting you in the A$$.

Microsoft cant face Sonys first party. I would say let them have it out of pity, but honestly, Sony should continue the tend of not even giving them an inch this generation.

Why spend money to create games when you can just use that money to make sure other peoples games don't appear on rival systems. Really gives us gamers more unique experiences that can only be played on XboxoneX

Yep, it's a lot better to do both. Create games and then keep those games forever away from rival platforms. That way you can keep players out for eternity and not just a few measely months.

As if Sony has never tried to keep games from rival platforms.

Doesn't anyone else find it suspicious that Capcom isn't releasing Monster Hunter World, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, Disney Afternoon Collection, Okami HD, etc. on the Nintendo Switch? Either Capcom is the dumbest company in the world or someone is paying their bills.

Both Microsoft and Sony are guilty of this. Maybe even Nintendo, but much less so as they rely on first party much more than any other hardware company.

Its not that Sony hasnt tried. When Sony makes deals they lock them in immediatley. Secondly, no competing company with Microsoft has ever had the lackluster first party they have every every gen since inception. Microsoft knows this so theyve always depended on PC exclusives to jump ship to consoles from day one. Counter-strike? KOTOR? Jade Empire? Pub g? Witcher 2 and so many others. Microsoft has never fixed their first party and that will always be the thorn that keeps them dependent upon third party.

Why invest in exclusive games when you're being criticised for not having many when you can pay money to extend a timed exclusive that's already out on PC to a console it's going to be on anyway.

I agree but MS have condemned the practice, Sony haven't.

Fornite and Sony mustve forced their hand. Microsoft really has nothing left in the tank until Gears and Halo drop again.
