I made it quick and said "nothing" whenever it was hard to make out. Don't think I took longer than 1-2s per pic. My TV is in game mode, so the colors aren't as popping as usual.

I doubt I have any meaningful degree of color blindness.

Don't really need anything more than game mode since color space output is limiting factor. In fact I think game mode is probably best option to do colour test since it cuts out the post-processing which has an effect on the raw images ... (My monitor can only output 16.7M different colours so no HDR for me but I doubt most of these tests use HDR to begin with.)

edit: Took the test again on my work monitor where I'm sitting a lot closer. Still says I have mild protan but unless it tells me which ones I got wrong I won't believe it.

There were 4 images that looked all gray shades to me. Every other one I got right.

OK, you might want to go get checked out with a local optometrist or take the test a little slower to absorb more information ...

Did it again. This time I answered the ones where I did see the color in the grey pattern but could not perfectly make out the shape 100%. Turns out the difference between color blind and normal visions is 2 pictures.

I think it's safe to say that the test is designed to make people with normal vision believe that there is something wrong with their sight.

Is the test by any chance randomized ?

@Bold Colour blindness is more a continuous spectrum rather than a discretized classification ...

In your case there might be some slight colour blindness but we won't know for sure until an optometrist does additional tests ...

These online tests are tests that doctors would definitely use for diagnostics ... (Ishihara test)

They would use the same test samples but their conclusion wouldn't be as strict.

But this test is telling me I need expensive glasses because I had to look more than 2 seconds on 2 of the 28 samples. Something an optometrist wouldn't say. I'm pretty sure if a person has color blindness to any degree that affects their lifestyle they'd know it.

Normal. It would be hilarious if they failed everyone just to trick people into buying the glasses though.

Glasses are for sharpness you can't fix colour blindness with glasses.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Normal color vision, and it felt as one of them didn't even have a number, so I chose that 😜.

Tell them that. This site is for selling EnChroma glasses, which claims to correct mild color blindness. Could be total snake oil.
