Off topic: my brother bought the dlc for Battlefield 1, but I can't play it in my account. We both use the same xbox, is there any way to fix this or do I have to buy the dlc too?

A minimal impact at best. 4K, One X, PUBG, are all targeting the same hardcore market. There is no new flood of customers to be reached with the above. Cheap One S bundles will have a far bigger impact.

Ofcourse MS, just like Sony is shooting themselves a bit in the foot with all the attention on the premium product. It cheapens the base version, like Eurogamer now calls it the ps4 amateur. The ps4 pro is actually in a great place this holiday, the premium product, yet more affordable than the One X in multiple ways.

Currently in Canada you get
XBox One S bundle CAD 320
PS4 slim CAD 380
PS4 Pro bundle CAD 500
XBox One X CAD 600

For CAD 120 more you get the premium PS4 product plus a game
For CAD 280 more you get the premium XBox product minus a game

One X will be a hard sell once the hardcore loyal fan base has their system.

This is completely nonsensical.

VGChartz shows the gap at 2.66 million.

and growing....

The Xbox is barely even selling any games at this point. It rarely even makes the top ten in sales, its all PS4 and Nintendo.

It will certainly improve sales significantly for a few months. However it won't topple Ps4 total sales in states.

You know what? Screw the naysayers, I agree that in NA, XB1 sales will surpass ps4 sales eventually. LMAO at the people calling this impossible, the gap isn't as big in America as you think it is. But I will admit that it can't catch up this year, but it could close the gap a bit in the holiday months.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

How is pubg targeting the hardcore market? It's basically turning into the next big thing.

PUBG is a game for PC gamers that happens to be on Xbox. I don't believe it will make a very big impact on sales, much less result in a supply shortage. It will continue to remain popular, but for the most part people will be playing this on PC.

Sony's already got 4K Gaming covered. Even though most games don't run in 4K, many run above 1080p. Couple that with a larger game selection, and this point will fall through as well.

While there was a bit of "Our console runs better", the core of the PlayStation argument has always been the games. An argument that has become so one-sided that we saw the extinction of List Wars.

In short, there will be a surge in purchases when the XB1X comes out, though it will mostly be people who already own an XB1 or XB1S upgrading. I can see the Xbox pulling ahead for one, maybe two weeks as a result. But supply of the other models will be at a heavy surplus due to people getting rid of their current Xboxes for the new one.

Ahhhh...this post makes a lot more sense now.

Unnecessary.

I'm pretty sure somebody who puts that in their sig can take it being quoted back at them without having a nervous breakdown.
Enough of the special snowflake protection racket. As demonstrated by theirs responce, the OP is cool with it.
If anything, I would question why anybody could have that as a sig and nobody ever comments upon it in any way.
I was going to mention it myself before I saw it already came up.

Well, it's not targeting me in the slightest, nor my kids, or my wife... What is the universal appeal of PUBG? It will find a place next to CoD, Fifa/Pes and Battlefield, but it's no Minecraft or GTA.
