That's awesome that you're really enjoying it! One of the best games I've played and best new IP this gen for sure.

No doubt about it. Outside of VR, Horizon is the best expereince I have had on PS4. It sits side by side with The Last of Us as the two best non vr games I have ever played.

This is a thread that I approve of =p HZD is super impressive, couldn't agree more. I haven't played much, but from what I have played, it's very captivating in so many ways. I do agree that the side quests are well done, since they aren't totally mindless and you have some good NPC interaction and world-building through them. The game gives me a similar feeling to BotW, in that it makes me want to just explore or collect resources, without necessarily progressing in the story (not quite to the same extend as BotW though). Facial animations and voice acting is fantastic too ... aaaaah so much awesome!! Massive kudos to the developers :3

Played all the exclusives and big amount of Japaneze games this year and besides nioh this is my goty by far!

Just finished it myself a couple of weeks ago. Fantastic game yet there is still room for improvement. I'm surprised at the terrific job Guerilla did it being g their first rpg. Already have the expansion pre-ordered.

i havent got around to playing it. i still need to finish zelda.

I need to finish Bloodborne. I've had a harder time getting into the Souls sequels the more they focus on combat(just cause they get repetitive). Nioh and Bloodborne I want to finish this month!

Lol, this is generally the kind of reaction I have to most modern triple A exclusives. "yawn". Believe me, did not expect to love this like i did. It is a bit tedious and generic in a few areas, but it's mostly great and original!

I've actually played the first few hours of Persona 5 2 times ... I love it and as a newbie to Persona I'm expecting it to be my favorite game this year. What stopped me from getting past the first few hours(I tried twice) was .. the first time I picked up medicine from an official doctor and because of it every time I used it my characters had a problem hitting enemies ... and since I kept healing my party their hit ratio became really bad, the second time the game was constantly taking control away from the player and it got a bit annoying. I love how flashy and artistic it is, but the constant loading screens can be annoying. Generally speaking if I haven't played a game in a few days or weeks I restart it ... so if I got back to it i'd have to replay all the custcenes and loading screens all over.

I think the game is significantly better than Zelda, although I really loved Zelda for the first 50 hours ... so take that as you will ... 

Glad you liked it. Hoping to get back into it later on this year. It released during a busy time for me so I never finished it.
