Mass Effect Andromeda: Played it on Day 1 and Loved it on on Day 1. Facial animations didnt bother me and the story kept me engaged. Archon was better than Saren IMO. Not to mention the gameplay is the best the series has seen.

Assassins Creed 3: Connor is the GOAT assassin in my book and no on can tell me otherwise. Love this game so much.

Agreed with those 2 games as well. I maintain that anyone who hates the ME:A hasn't given it a proper go. Yes, the animations are off and the dialogue and voice acting at times in cringe worthy but overall the game is pretty good.

Enjoy AC3, but will always prefer Ezio to Connor.

The dialogue and voice acting isnt anymoe cringe worthy than the trilogy. As for AC i like Ezio too but he doesn't eclipse Connor imo

Halo 4.

Never understood why there was such hate for it, especially amongst the Halo fanbase here. For me had the right mix of classic Halo elements with newer features from elsewhere like weapon loadout.
Conversely, I don't understand the love for Halo 5, which is my least favourite game in tne series.

Halo 4 is my favorite in terms of single player and Halo 5 in terms of multiplayer 🙂.

Without a doubt, Sonic R is one of my most loved, hated games. I understand why people hate it, whether it's the controls, music, short draw distance, weird race layout... but I absolutely love the game and have done from the start! I know and adore every soundtrack, how you can master the controls and learn to dominate the tracks. Everything is just so awefully great! 🙂

What?!?! People dont like the music to Sonic R? How can you not like this lol

I know! 🙂

ACIII
Sunshine
ZombiU
Sonic Lost World

Dr. Lautrec and the Forgotten Nights (3ds)
Kid Icarus Uprising (3ds)

And ...........that´s about it.

In my case, it would be easier to name games that everybody loves but I simply can´t stand.

Dead Island. It was pretty damn fun.

Also i'll add Dead Rising 4 to my list. The game set out of dumb fun, and it achieved it. People are pissed that Frank's old voice actor didn't return, nor did that stupid timer return. I mean, really? Hiding the real ending behind DLC was scummy and a classic capcom move, and I hate that, to be fair.

I mean, yeah DR1 and DR2 were better, but this was by no means a bad game. It was a big step above DR3, infact.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

The only thing I can think of right now is Need for Speed Most Wanted (2012). The map is cleverly crafted, handling is perfect for an arcade racer, the damage model is robust, the multiplayer is integrated seamlessly, and it doesn't have have of the cheesy story of the games past. It's goes straight to pure fun (to be fair I might be biased since I loved Burnout Paradise).

But it had frame pacing issues and was locked to 30fps on PC as well! :p Or was that NFS Rivals?

I guess most wanted was the one with the city? That was really fun online. Burnout paradise did the stunts better online, most wanted was a blast to race with other people. Damn I miss a good arcade racer, paradise, driver sf, most wanted, rivals. DC is great yet after 3 years it's time for something new. Trackmania Turbo was fun but gets very difficult and the online tracks were the same ones on a loop all the time. Hopefully The crew 2 will be good. I greatly enjoyed the first one as well, also not a popular title.

Have you tried out Forza Horizon 3 yet? It's the goat racer this gen, IMO. The handling model may be too realistic to call it arcade, but if you class Driveclub as arcade, than Horizon 3 might also be classed as arcade, tbh.

As a kid, I really liked Mario is Missing.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Yeah i liked the fact that they removed the timer. Its what kept me from playing the DR games.
