Xbox was my favorite 6th gen console with GameCube coming in a very close 2nd, so I'd have to pick Xbox.

I'm wondering if Morrowind is a big reason for that?

Never owned a Xbox. Had a gamecube, Dreamcast and PS2. Gamecube for me. Had far more Quality games and that controller was insane.

Morrowind, Halo 1 & 2, Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2, NFS Underground 2, GTA Vice City, Metal Gear Solid 2, among some others

GC by far is the best of the three. Xbox was good mainly for Halo and XBL multiplayer, while the DC was just too little too late for SEGA despite its many arcade hits and hidden gems.

Had Nintendo not designed the GC to look like a purple lunch box and focused more on features like online functionality and DVD playback like Sony and M$ did, the 6th gen would've looked completely different.

Dreamcast was great at the time but it was so short lived it just doesn't stack up. Xbox had some great games and loved playing halo and halo 2 along with a handful of other games (especially Star Wars Battlefront). But Gamecube was by far the best. Even though it was my main system that gen, I was in college for most of its lifespan and played much more multiplayer that single player games, so I'm pretty sure I even missed out on a bunch of top notch games or only partially played through some. So hands down gamecube, it was my favorite system of the gen, including ps2 which i also got a couple years later.

Dreamcast was the shit. I had more fun with that console than either Xbox or Gamecube. Playing online games back in 2001 on a home console was a revolutionary experience.
