*Please note: an AC adapter for the USB cable is required to play the system but is not included in the packaging.

Wait what? Am I reading this right? They're not including an AC adapter neccesary to play the system? o.o

It's not a huge issue but it's annoying. Like some 3ds models not coming with a charger...

It's killing me! Why would they not put Chrono Trigger on there!

What's the point when they're releasing the remake next year?

Right?

Pffft, by the time the remake comes out Lavos will have already destroyed Earth and we'd be living in domes.

Seriously?  That is a deal breaker for me on the purchase.  Sure I have plenty of usb wall outlet adapters, but come on now Nintendo.

What in the hell is Nintendo thinking? I cannot afford to buy all the Switch titles I want and now they come along and release this console to take a chunk out of my wallet. FML this is Nintendo's year.

And this is further proof that Nintendo gives no fucks about, and shits all over, E3.

The nes was the same, so it's not a surprise.

Is it like that worldwide, or only in specific regions?

The NES Classic was gap filler covering for their lack of new games to sell, so I'm guessing the SNES classic is to cover for the lack of VC on Switch. Assuming the SNES classic's lifespan is the same as the NES classic, we should hopefully hear about Switch VC early next year. Also I bet that if you bought a classic system, there'll be no way to get the superior Switch versions of those games other than buying them yet again.
