Many times better than being boring but pretty.

True. Check out up up down gaming with professional wrestler and avid gamer Austin creed from the wwe. The game looked boring as hell.

I'm talking about the lack of talk about destruction when the game is so close to launch. If they don't show it I think Microsoft seriously needs to push it back. Look at the gameplay from up up down down. They really, really need to show more modes because the game looks basic as hell.

One would think Microsoft would've had them showcase the destruction, but it looks like it's not going to reach that bar that was set for the destructions. Hopefully it does.

I'd be concerned if they didn't. Red Faction: Guerilla managed to do that in 2009.

Looks like Crackdown to me. As long as the gameplay is fun, I have no problems.

gameplay over graphics any day.

YOUPretty much this.  I have played all of the Crackdown games and they have never been graphical pretty games.  I was hoping for Crackdown 3 to change this but with the Trailer and a gameplay one out there on YouTube, my hopes were dashed.  Crackdown 3 will definitely not be a graphical showcase game for MS but then again it never was.

Microsoft is still pushing the destruction. It's just the destruction isn't going to be the focal point in single player as the single player component can be played offline without access to the cloud.

Yeah, they probably should have showed like 30 seconds of that.

But the destruction has been demonstrated on several occasions. This is the first time campaign was the focus. People also complain MS is too multiplayer focused.

The game isn't coming until November and we have no idea how old this build is. As for your gameplay complaints, it seems you watched the video but only listened to his complaints about the graphics. He has nothing but praise for the gameplay. And there are other IGN videos showcasing how big the world is, more destruction, gang elements, the verticality, etc etc. Your linked video literally says the game feels so good it makes up for the "bad" look, and also says it feels like an homage to the original game, just modernized.

So... you have an amazing playing Crackdown that is a throw back to the original. Uh, yes please. I don't think anyone looking forward to the game would have asked for anything else. Crackdown was never a looker. It always had funky cel shaded style graphics and a unique look that didn't appeal to everyone.

Your video also says they prioritize visuals elsewhere. And I don't know what other "modes" you need to see, Crackdown has a campaign and a MP mode.

The game is not ready to show.  Its clear if the game was in a state to show or show beyound what they have previewed for the last couple years it probably would be on the show floor.  Hopfully it is shone at gamescon and playable.
