That's $120 a year though.
Add that to the $60 for Gold... That's $180 a year.

And if you have other subscriptions... It starts to all add up. For instance, say you had Netflix as well... That's another $144 a year.
$40 a month for Internet... EA Access pass ends up as $30 a year...

So just to have the Xbox One connected to the internet, watch netflix, multiplayer, EA access and the Xbox One games pass you are looking at $834 a year...

You're forgetting the electricity to power the Xbox and the mortgage for my home to play Xbox in!

But no. I spent $117 on dinner last night. It's $10 a month and I can cancel at any time.  I actually do subscribe to everything you mentioned in addition to Hulu, WWE Network, YouTube Red, and Comixology Unlimited. It's no big deal to me.

Do you want to be my new daddy?

that's certainly no surprise as there isn't any BC Forza game (EDIT: from the main series. Horizon has been pulled from the store due to copyright issues.). They could've included Forza 5 though. Maybe after 7 comes out.

2016 games:
Electronic Super Joy (on X1)
KYUB
Layers of Fear
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse
Steredenn

Maybe more, didn't check them all.

Ah that is quiet helpful, so thank you. I only checked the big ones. I also didn't know that Horizon has been pulled due to copright issues.

That said Forza 5 came ou in 2013, and Forza 6 in 2015. Neither are Horizon - both are on XB1.

Are you saying games on the xb1 need "publisher permission" to be on this xbox game pass?

huh? Of course. They need to make contracts, otherwise how would you determine which publisher is getting what amount of money from the Games Pass Revenue?
Obviously MS doesn't need to give permission for their own games, but why include every first party game from day one? They would receive less profit from their most recent game releases and they would have nothing more to add over the months to keep people subscribed to the service. Forza 5 could be included, I agree, but I guess it's coming within the next months.
Gears Ultimate, Halo 5 and Sunset Overdrive are still strong 1st party games to start the service.

How good are you with a lawnmower?

Most hardcore gamer will likely never subscribe to the service. It's aimed toward new Xbox One owners and casual gamers in general. It's one of those services that will get better over time. Games With Gold started out pretty weak, but over time got better and better.

Doubt it, it is an easy way to get a lot of achievements Hardcore gamers will get it =p.

Also games like DMC/mad max when they are on sale are like 9,99 euro on PS plus/gold same price to play the game for a month + 100-120 other games aswell. Give it a few months and see how it evolves.

Fair enough. I prefer not to have monthly fee's eat into my disposable income though. :P

However, options are a good thing and for people just buying a X1 this seems like a great deal.

I agree. Choice is a great thing. Right now this service is uninspiring, but I am keen to see how she stacks up in a year or two.

Will it replace my regular purchasing habbits? Hell no.

If you have a small collection OR just bought a X1, I would recommend this service atleast for a few months. Also, get EA Access which has a lot of AAA content for a measly $30 a year.

The Xbox Pass is solid right now, but maybe they will add notable content every month. MS still has a bunch of their own games that could bolster the service.
