Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Xbox Game Pass: every game for Xbox One and Xbox 360

I'm enjoying it and plan on keeping it atleast a few months to see where they go with it. Would be nice to see some newer Xone titles.

The problem for me is that I have absolutely zero interest in old current gen games, last gen games and BC, so these efforts by MS to give me yuuuuge stockpile of old games does me nothing, the amount of new current gen games is low, MS' own Gen 8 library has been weak. This service does not entice me to get an Xbox.

Perhaps this service was never intended for someone like you?

Frankly, most people on any platform wouldn't pay for a service like this. However, options are a good thing and for people just buying a X1 this seems like a great deal.

Several surprises.

No Forza? Infact no Forza on 360 or xb1.
And from what I can tell - no game from 2016+.

Two halo's, and what looks to be every GOW?

I imagine we'll see Forza Horizon 2 on this eventually. I'd be surprised if any of the sims get added.

In a few months I think Halo:MCC will be on the service and it should stay there.

MS has essentially given away the GoW games on numerous occasions. Not surprising to see them here.

And you can buy old DVDs for $2 at second hand shops. I guess Netflix is worthless.

Netflix has a convenience advantage. You can start watching your shows/movies instantly verses taking a trip down to a shop.

Microsoft's approach... Depending on connection speed and game size can still take you 20+ hours to download a game before you can even start playing.

Have 17 of those games.

I counted 40 for me. :P

It would have been nice if there was more emphasis on newer titles.
But you are right, the Xbox One's game library is it's weakest point, hence why they are leveraging the Xbox 360's game library which was pretty solid in comparison, albeit the games look extremely dated now.

I agree. Choice is a great thing. Right now this service is uninspiring, but I am keen to see how she stacks up in a year or two.

Will it replace my regular purchasing habbits? Hell no.

I bought my daughter an Xbox One. She doesn't care if a game is old or new. She just wants something to play. I'm gonna get it for her to play when she's at her mom's house.

I own 14 of the Xbox One games and 33 of the 360 games.

$10 a month doesn't bother me.

I look at the list and wonder what I'm supposed to be getting excited about, I mean wow DmC! Omg Saints Row 4! Games I played at launch in like 2012, then bought for $5 at a steam sale somewhere.

You expect a "yuuuuge stockpile" of new games for $9.99 a month? No. No sane person would.

I have more than 20 of these games. Going to wait for a rotation or two before jumping on board.

I think I already had 25. A lot look like games from Rare Replay.

I'm eyeing Mad Max, pay day 2 and Saint's Row 4...

9.99 for 3 games I missed out on is pretty tempting...
