I looked at the english dates for the "over a year" part, but the japanese date is nevertheless a year later.

I agree that Splatoon 2 has the best chance of doing it but there's no way Monster Hunter XX does it lol. Same with Odyssey. It's really only 2D Mario games that sell amazing.

Also i think you have this huge grudge against nintendo fans. Im not ripping on sony bruh!

I do think there is a slight difference between releasing a game on the ps3 and then a couple of months later releasing the remastered edition on the ps4 a system with no backwards compatibility in it.

I'm just saying I know Breath of the Wild is also on the Wii-U but it wasn't released there and then after feasting on the sales of the previous machine have it launch on the new system while it was floundering for games of any kind to reap sales there too. BoTW launched on both WiiU and Switch so you had the choice up front which version you wanted even though smart money went with a Switch copy and the new console so it was more than Game selling the Hardware because people wanted to play Zelda the best way they could and the Switch was that way, rather than the PS4 selling TLOU remastered for a simple fact of a software drought of other options at the time, not solely based on the game software (which was GOTY x 50000000 to be fair).

Animal Crossing on the Switch is going to be insane. Handheld ones I've enjoyed more, but console ones clearly had more power and capabilities on them. I'm excited for a console version on the go! Especially if they make it very multiplayer friendly (in the past, it is annoying).
