Even in the region where it was closest to the launch it was still 12 months. Also one of the other 2 was packed in with the system and the other was sold at the same price as an additional Wii Remote. It's like comparing other games which required Kinect against the sales of Kinect adventures and suggesting that all of them were a failure in comparison to that figure. (as much as I know Wii Sports was not a pack in in all regions)

Anyway you're wrong on the dates, that's the main thing!

 

Also on topic , would have to agree with the OP - While I was annoyed originally at the March launch date for the system I've been very impressed with the unit since launch and I'm really happy now that they gave it the time required to not only produce the number of systems they have done but also the software lineup has not left an empty month yet where there hasn't been something I've been interested in buying. Less than 6 months in and have 6 titles on the system already which I would consider to be worthy of buying a machine for.
