I'm pretty sure they showed Halo 5 at E3 2014 and I would expect Halo 6 to be an H2 2018 game.

Actually they first showed Halo 5 at E33 2013.

Halo 3 Anniversary is not releasing this year or any year. Already said multiple times by 343i and Phil Spencer. Get over it people. It would be a pointless release. MCC already has Halo 3 remastered with every map.

It was actually the missing part of the MCC puzzle. It was pretty much common sense for Microsoft that they would fill in the gaps with Halo 3 after Halo 2. They dont have much else to offer outside of the usual names, so putting maximum effort into the big three is all they can do. The whole time that I played Halo 3, I was wondering about Halo 3 remastered like Halo 2. It was a letdown to experience decreased visuals after the previous game was so beautiful.

Don't really know why so many people are clamouring for a Halo 3 & ODST remaster when they're both included in MCC anyway. If anything they could just release a graphics update for MCC.

Halo 6 should launch next year, not sure why I was expecting it to be at E3 this year, though announcing a mainline halo just over a year in advance probably isn't too long.
