Watching these numbers feels like 2007 all over again, because this generation's number has been boring. Excitement to see the weekly numbers are back!!

I for one welcome our new Nintendo overlords.

Nintendo always does this with their stock. That excuse is getting old. Either way Sony is still doing great with all the new system Switch buzz. Stevie Wondet can see that lol |
So i guess them shipping 2.75m Switch units instead of the originally planned 2m units was simply due to Switches magically popping up into stores?
I think the only excuse getting old is saying that supply is being constrained only to downplay the Switch's success.

PS4 closer to Switch this week than the last, 10k gap between the 2 this week compared to the 30k gap of last week, they are so close right now that any of them ending at number 1 next week wouldnt be surprising.
Great to see Nintendo on top again, especially with a console that I actually really LIKE *cough* Wii U, and one with a lot of solid games right off the bat or at least seemingly coming soon *cough* Wii..

How can it be catching up if it's selling fewer units? |
Yea,and 55+ mill units about switch.
Soo weird.
Switch numbers currently doesn't mean much, Switch is even now in May supply constrained, it will be interesting to see sales number when that will not be case any more.

Pretty sure hes talking about the gap between the 2 being smaller this week than the last one.

Wii had a pretty decent opening year; launched with Twilight Princess, Wii Sports, and Excite Truck, and in its first twelve months got Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, Super Paper Mario, Medal of Honor, Zack & Wiki, Battalion Wars 2, Trauma Center...
