“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
- George Orwell, ‘1984’
Project A (1&2) have excellent and hilarious brawl fight scenes. Some other Jackie Chan favourites that haven't been mentioned are Twin Dragons & City Hunter
Brotherhood of War is the best war movie ever made.
The Protector is a terrible Tony Jaa film, but the fight scenes are creative.
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist is a must-see for any martial arts movie fans.

Last but not least there is an American series with an American Asian lead.
Into the badlands
It stars Daniel Wu, and the story is very anime like where you have different plantations that all specialise in manufacturing something (drugs, arms, etc), and they have their own army, henchmen and leader.
I need to add another one. Jackie Chan and his films have been mentioned all thread long but nobody has recommended Dragons Forever... For me this is Jackie's best film. It still has the comedic elements of a Jackie Chan film but also has quite a serious side as he and his friends try to get to the bottom of ans stop a drugs ring from operating
Shinobi Heart Under Blade
House of Flying Daggers
Hero
Crouching tiger Hidden Dragon
Killers
Crazy Lips (GLORIOUS)
A Hard Day
Vengeance Trilogy (Lady Vengeance
Another good asian action film I'd recommend, War of Arrows. It has alot of battles centered around archery which is very rare. Most films are about sword fighting. It's different but very good.
The returner is pretty cool. It stars takeshi keneshiro, the actor from the first and third Onimusha.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions! It'll keep me occupied for a while, that's for sure!
