Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Yes. It will hit 5 mill lifetime,1.2 mill first year. Just for the record when everyone doubted Splatoon I was thinking 2 million first year and it sold more than that.

After watching the direct yes, I think it can! Not sure yet but the game looks promising. It has potential, Nintendo will push it and it looks to be inviting to both the core gamers and the mass market players / the Wii crowd.

Reminds me of when Splatoon was coming soon, and everyone pretty much agreed that it would bomb, so anything goes I suppose.

I'm always a doubter, so I dunno, I think it will hit at most, 1.5M.

@bolded: No they didn't. Plenty of people were saying they expected it to bomb but there were also plenty of people saying that those people were judging it too early.

Lmao, I guess Splatoon wasn't enough for people to not judge a game too early. Second times the charm perhaps?
