That's awesome! Maybe some 3rd parties will make dock replacement covers. Didn't know removing it was so easy.

My phone is a Moto Z Force. I think there's a dock for it. Might even fit the Switch...

Thanks for the recap, didn't have time to read the text myself back then, just noticed a few brought it up.

I think I read a post at reddit that did mention the docks having different padding designs, but I can't find it now... I'll repost it tonight. The culprit seems to be this rubber protection missing in some docks:
