We already have won one battle, the prices of the accessories went down 5 euros in europe today.
-controller pro went from 75 to 70
-joycons 55 to 50
-joycon pack 85 to 80
-wheel 20 to 15

See people? Bitching works !!!!

So try and be more responsible consumers, don't buy anything at whatever price.

Trying to voice your complaints doesn't make you a hater or a troll either.

I hope you don't see that as a victory against Nintendo, because it really isn't. Since the 3DS, Nintendo does not set an MSRP for European countries which means that retailers set the prices. Looking at the initial prices you posted, retailers clearly took a gamble for the high end. But as soon as one retailer tries to get a competitive edge, others will most likely follow.

I didn't say this is a victory against Nintendo.

I don't know exactly what happens, all I know is that for 3 days the prices didn't change, and today, they went down. May it be the retailers or Nintendo, that made it happen, or both, I don't give a crap.

All I know is that we complained, the media complained, and they went down.

I don't think we'll see the real impact Switch has on Nintendo until a year from now. If its still selling well and 3DS owners are adopting it then it should be fine. But if it gets the Wii U treatment then we should see a sharp decline in stock as people flee Nintendo.

Didn't expect anything different.

Not surprising, of course there wasn't any chance for you to expect something different... ( given your posting history... )

Nah he's just smart when it comes to business and how investors would react.  Bravo Dr.  Vita!

I think this video has played a larger role in negative investor confidence that people realize. It's done things to me. Things I need to see a doctor about.

That looks so unbelievably stupid, I can't even process it. I saw a $20 table tennis kit with ACTUAL balls AND better portability. 25000 hours of straight gameplay!

What he means is that Nintendo can't denied directly European prices. Only retailers can

That's what the law says. The law and the reality of business aren't the same thing

I think Nintendo should stop being so secretive on their devices, it hurts their stock price because by not giving out any information you build up pent up expectation and it's very easy to dissapoint people when you raise their expectations like that.

Stop being so vague about everything, it's not even helping your business. You have a system that releases in like 6 weeks and there are still major, major components of the system we know virtually nothing about.

1-2 Switch has actually managed to beat Wii Music as the most cringeworthy game reveal of all time. The good news is that it only costs 50$.

No.... I don't think it has, Cow Milking simulator is bad, but Wii-Music had potential which turned into the shit above, 1-2-Switch really just is dead in the water from the get go, and the fact that it isn't a pack in is the biggest cringe factor of all.

I think people would have been far more likely to buy software like Wii-Sports just for the Bowling game alone than 1-2-Switch

Just to clarify - I do think 1-2-Switch was terrible in everyway, but I think there was no potential there for it to be anything other than terrible, whereas Wii-Music could have been good and it was a disaster.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

If you don't know what it means to be casual don't say anything at all. $300 is not casual? Iphones cost $700. The color makes it hardcore? Just stop

yep, the color too makes it hardcore.

And stop comparing the price people put into an iphone (by the way most of them have a payment plan they don't just pay 700 $ upfront) and the price they would put into a dedicated gaming machine.

Most parent even prefer to buy a tablet for their kids, because they'll be able to do other things than just playing, like watching youtube.

I thought people here on VGchartz would have some knowledge of today's market, but you're like most gamers out there, blinded by your passion for gaming. Unable to see what is right in front of you.

And you're the bimbo saying stupid shit. Get the fuck outta here and dont comment to me again until you get some sense boy.
