Well in the montage of games there was quite a few games that should be here within the first few months. (Disgaia, DBZ Xenoverse, there was a lot of Wii U game ports in there. There were a few I couldn't identify.) I rated it low because they really should have do three different events, the translator just made the hour drag on. And they had to probably space things out to allow for the translations.

So I rated it 6/10 because the format was just god awful, and since it was a Japanese show they stayed on titles that didn't have enough to interest international audiences. (Why didn't they name 1,2 Switch a Warioware title it would be better received because that is what it looks like.)

not assigning a score, but:

clear negatives: battery life, paid online

worrying: price, no talk of backwards compatibility, little 1st party stuff for launch considering the WiiU got pretty much nothing the last 2 years and especially no Pokémon announcement (even just a port would've done wonders for the Switch)

positive: Mario and Zelda looked very polished, Xenoblade 2 (might be early in development though), japanese 3rd party support, still a good concept that could spread to casual gamers by word of mouth

I liked it. There are games I'm really interested in, the price is ok and with all the features it has, it doesn't sound too much, and there are options to play. Nintendo is basically give you the option to play games however you like: TV, handheld, at rest with the Joy Cons off the tablet, online, local, gathering multiple tablets, etc. The translator was a bit off at times, but I was excited nonetheless.

8/10

This was insultingly bad. Sure Super Mario Odyssey kinda blew me away and BOTW looks better than ever, but the negatives was just too many. Paid online, barely any games, boring as shit and bad translations.

I was so bummed out when they said that the Switch will launch in the bigger countries in Europe on March 3rd because I don't think Norway is one of them, but now they can release the system in the fall here for all I care. Just as long as its before Super Mario Odyssey. I can play Zelda on the WiiU until then.

I would be excited about No More Heroes, but I don't know what it will be because of the horrible translator. Is it No More Heroes 3 or is it just an online battle arena game? I have no idea...

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 looks cool, but I don't really know enough about it yet.

The 2 new games they announced looked like Wii grade shovelware. People thought the first one could be RDR2.(Yeah right) I thought it was Wild Gunman 2... It turned out to be some minigame garbage.

This shit is what I was excited for...lol

4/10 - Get your shit together Nintendo!

It was pretty awful. $300 with no pack-in and paid online, but even worse than that, after all these years of droughts and low quality y games, Nintendo only had 5 new brand games to show for it. Also lot's of filler and 3rd partys talking without games to show.

4/10

paid online is massive disappointing.

The thing is- there was almost NOTHING new. most of the things were vaguely hinted at in the reveal trailer a few months ago. I can't believe Nintendo in the last 2 years or so has not quickly made some Switch games, brought back some Metroid/F-Zero/Eternal Darkness.

ugh. I can't believe the new Mario game, easily the most exciting thing, has not been made quicker. Next holidays? Kind of worried about the Switch now. I honestly cannot believe there was no solid list of launch titles. the ONLY thing they have officially announced for launch is Zelda? whattttttt :/

Honestly the paid online hasn't even sunk in yet, I'm just so annoyed at the lack of games! But yeah you're right, the only newly revealed game by Nintendo that isn't motion control garbage is Xenoblade. Absolutely pathetic. I take it back, the event gets a 2/10 from me.

Oh Zelda got dated for launch? When I realized that they were seriously going to have a 3 year old game be the final thing I lol noped out of the stream.

Battery is the one I went out with a big ? in my face. They said it would range from 3 hours to 6 hours and half right?

2.5-6 hours

But the minimum is my worry... Why is the minimum 2.5???

Yeah.I mean, how the hell it can go that low or go that high? They really should have explained this.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I saw some new Mario Kart 8 stages. HELL YEAH!!!

Unfortunately, it's not coming out at launch, though.

heads up. nintendo's youtube has some trailers up for games not featured on the stream.

Why not have the MK8 Deluxe trailer in the presentation?

And is Pikmin 4 dead?
