Really interested in the legs of FFXV versus some of the earlier entries.

Yes SMM is killing it! Pokemon SunMoon doing extremely well as its heading to be the highest selling new ip of this gen!

FFXV holds again very well. We need digital figures, it could be close to or over 1mil.

Miitopia isnt a bomba like many expected.

Told you, people do not consider it a 3DS successor.... For the moment!
it's extremely beneficial for 3ds sales that its alleged successor doesn't have backwards compatability!

It is a sucessor. It isn't affecting 3Ds because it isn't out yet, people don't even know the pricing. Also, Japan is normally kinda late to jump on tendencies. I would say that the late rising of 3DS is a Pokémon Go effect. Nintendo should really had the Switch ready to launch before the mobile game launched. They are attracting sales, but for their soon to be replaced device.

They should do a big update for PoGo around the launch date of Switch. Pack a bunch of missing features and release a massive update to get some attention.

The 3DS is still smashing the competition! And Super Mario Maker keep on Slaying!

 

Have they release the top 10 software and the yearly hardware sales from both/any charts?

Funny how Mario Maker started at a fourth of FF, but will pass the title by next week... Definitely tier 1 legs, with Minecraft, Splatoon, etc...
