Microsoft

Halo 3 Annivsary is real and will launch on Xbox One, Windows 10, and be a showcase title for Scorpio and be the big the Xbox holiday game.

Scorpio will be an impressive machine but it will do at best okay sales wise do it having a $500 price tag.

While Sea Of Thieves won't be what Rare fans want. It will be wildly reguarded as their best game ever since becoming a Microsoft studio.

Scalebound will do okay sales wise and get some solid reviews but it won't be the next Bayonetta.

Crackdown 3 will either get cancelled or come out to okay reviews.

Cuphead will be the best 2D platformer of the year.

Sony

Spider-Man, God Of War, and Days Gone are all 2018 games.

By the end of the year we will start hearing some rumblings about the PS5 but nothing will surface until 2019.

Horizon will get pretty good reviews and sale very well.

Detriot will once again prove that David Cage is a terrible writter but will be his best game since thankfully he has some co-writers but his bad writing will still be noticable and the super best friends LP of it will be funny as fuck.

We will see the first gameplay of Death Stranding at PSX but no The Last Of Us Part 2 gameplay all year.

Bloodborne 2 will be annouced (or this is just wishful thinking)

Vita development begins to come to a close as Japanese Vita developers to move to the PS4 and Switch.

Nintendo

Most of the rumors we are hearing about will be true.

Switch will have a much better first year then either the Wii U and 3DS but it won't be as good the first year of the Wii.

Switch will also some major stock issues for the first few months.

the new 3D Mario and Breath Of The Wild will be serious GOTY contenders.

Mario and Rabbids RPG crossover will be one of the most surprising good games of the year.

Pokemon Stars (or at least a mainline Pokemon on the switch) will come out on 17th and it will cause the Switch win this holiday season.

Third Party support will be better then the Wii U thanks to better sales and Vita developers working Switch games but we will still miss quite a few major titles.

No first party 3DS games will release in Q4.

Third Party

RDR2 will get delayed into 2018.

Mass Effect Andromeda will be good but just not as good as everyone is expecting.

Persona 5 will be a major GOTY contender

Assassin's Creed Empires will be the best game in the series since AC2 but sales it will be underwhelming.

the first part of the FFVII remake will release in late 2017.

FFXIV Stormblood will be the best DLC/Expansion release all year.

Either Sony or Nintendo will Money hat Dragon Quest XI localization in exchange so that only their version gets released.

Ubisoft will get bought out.

Injustice 2 will dissapoint thanks to its upgrade system which will cause to be fill with microtansactions.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite will be what Street Fighter V should of been at launch content wise.

Metal Gear Survive will be one the worst games of the year due to being an uninsipred zombie game that is a very buggy mess.

Nier Aotomata will be Platinum's fastest selling game and sale way better then exptectations and get great reviews but be forgotten about by the media when it comes to GOTY. Also some major gaming site will take away points just for the upskirt shots and will make gaming journalism an even bigger joke.

A  industry legend will sadly die.

I only have one prediction for 2017: Breath of the Wild will make everyone mess their pants.

Microsoft

The Scorpio will  launch with a lot on fanfare, but Microsoft will do something wrong and a controversy will ensue. It will sell well, but not nearly well enough to compete against the Pro.

A new Halo game will be announced. They will try to release it alongside the Scorpio, but it will be delayed.

Sea of Thieves will be delayed and then get a 60 on Metacritic. It's been too long since its announcement and we haven't seenany major gameplay yet.

Microsoft 10 Store will not meet MS's expectations, and at the end of the year we'll hear rumours about going the same way as Games for Windows.

Minecraft will continue as strong as always.

Sony

The Spiderman game will (MAYBE -edit-) come out at the same time as Spiderman Homecoming, and will dissapoint people. Not as much as other movie tie-in games, just a slight dissappointmen, it will sell well.

Sony announces stopping Vita production everywhere but Japan. The system will take the release of the Switch bad in the West, where it's already struggling. If the Switch is successful, we'll see the two systems sharing a lot of japanese multiplats.

God of War will release during Christmas. It will be a GOTY candidate, but long term fans will complain about the changes made to the game to make it more cinematic and less hack & slashy. Please don't kill the kid, please don't kill the kid, please don't kill the kid, please don't kill the kid...

Sony will try to push VR by convincing a major FPS IP to release as an exclusive on the PS VR. It will work on both VR and non VR mode, to avoid pissing off the fans.

More Death Stranding weird ads.

Horizon will be great both critically and finantially. It will round the 80s on metacritic.

Nintendo

The WiiU will be completely forgotten and erased from all official Nintendo websites.

The january presentation will be amazing, but people will complain about no metroid or F-Zero. Then either Shin'en or Sega will show an F-Zero trailer and everyone will lose their minds.

The Switch will sell well during it's first year. Around 7-10 million units. The Switch will have stock problems, but not nearly as bad as the ones it had with the Wii or even amiibo (Nintendo needs to get an userbase as quickly as possible, after all). The WiiU ports will dominate early sales, and WiiU owners will complain but doubledip. BotW will not be at launch, but it will be close enough to make people keep paying attention to the Switch.  A lot of Vita/PS3 ports will come during the first year, specially from japanese games.

Red Dead Redemption and GTA V won't release on the Switch. Skyrim will, but people will complain about te optimization and the bugs. It will be the best selling multiplat on the Switch for two years straight, but it won't reach three millions. No VR, why do people think it can work on the Switch?

EA games will bring EA Sport ports... from the PS360. Cue Nintendo fans raging against EA.

Mario Kart 8.5 will fix the battle mode. People of the world will rejoice. Smash will be identical to the WiiU, barely any change. The remaining Smash amiibos will release alongside the Switch.

Ever Oasis will be the next Codename STEAM, but even that game will sell better than STEAM. After its release, the 3DS will be no more.

Minecraft will be announced for the Switch, but for its second or third year.

Nintend will release a major Animal Crossing game app for mobile, and it will do amazingly in Japan, as big as Pokemon Go. But big in Japan only, the rest of the world won't care that much.

Third Party

Hello Games will close down due to internal squabbling.

Ubisoft will barely escape the buyout by Vivendi thanks to the AC game being a hit.

Persona 5 will not be a major GOTY contender because for some reason this kind of JRPG don't get that much attention in the west anymore.

Metal Gear Survive will be released and will inmediately fail miserably, both finantally and criticaly. It won't be a broken mes, just incredibly bland. This will be the last AAA Konami game ever. After that, just licensing and VC.

Sonicmania will sell well and have a decent critic score, but the same won't be for the 3D counterpart, that will be delayed for 2018.

EA will add microtransactions to ME Andromeda.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Spider-Man Homecaming is coming out in July and we barely know anything about Spider-Man PS4 and have only gotten 1 trailer and some footage from the PS4 Pro reveal so it aint coming out in July.

Really? You'd think Sony would want to use all the Spiderman Homecoming advertisement and hype to push this game. It would be dumb not releasing it close to the movie.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Probably cause its not close to being done since Activsion had the Spider-Man rights back in 2014 and Sony likely got them back in 2015 and Sony isn't the kind of publisher that would rush a game out to tie in with a movie.

I'll do Sony since its the only one I actually care about at this moment.
Horizon will get mixed reviews and I expect a metacritic score between 80 and 85. Gran Turismo will release in Q4 after a 12 month delay. It will be the first decent looking PSVR game and will take full advantage of the PRO. Spiderman and God of War are announced for Q4 and traditionally delayed to Q1 2018. Detroit will do very well and offers a new layer of depth in movie/game crossovers. Naughty Dog stays silence on TLOU 2 until PSX and Death stranding will see some gameplay and will be a vague game. Dreams might release during Q3 and will flop because no one really knows how to use such an advanced toolset (LBP 2 was complicated enough). Sucker Punch will make its project known to us on a bit of a lackluster E3 conference from Sony. Hell blade Ni-OH and Nier will be great.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

- Zelda BOTW WILL BE FUCKING AWESOME!

- I will be seeing a lot of Switch users at my uni and on the train!

- The new Animal Crossing is coming in 2017

- I still think Zelda BOTW will still be a launch title

- There will be more features of the Switch that will surprise us on the 12!

- Pokemon Stars is soooo happening. But I dont think it will be exclusive to the Switch.

Pocky Lover Boy!

Sony

- To release a new handheld, it'll be a bit like the switch but will lose a bit of functionality over the original Vita (in terms of front/back touch pads). Loads of people will say how Sony have copied Nintendo even though its been in development for a while. Be announced at E3 to deflect some of MS's Scorpio info.

- Will begin to give PS Now subs (or part of) as part of PS+ to make it look more appealing.

- Horizon will score well and sell well. 85+ metacritic.

- GT Sport will launch November/December - to battle against Scorpio.

3rd Party

RDR will launch in Summer - probably may-jun. Sony will make a special console edition for it.
Ubisoft will launch a new AC game, but also another remaster such as rogue or AC1 will appear on current gen.

Will update later with more.
