I can't see Gears of War 2 failing to outsell the first game. It's pretty much the biggest 360 release all year apart from GTA4.

The other guy seems like a stupid jerk (dunno whats the policy on curse words yet or I would have used other words o.o), sounds so stupid and using noob like he does doesn't help. That guy needs a good pimp slap.

I think that was one of the main points you were going for, gamepro people are stupid. I think both are going to be big games but Gears of War 2 selling little less then 1 and Resistence 2 selling more then 1.

Well. his rebuttal is more "fail" than your post actually. He tries some lingual ventures that he simply does not understand; in this case the "that is not something to say, let alone think".
The latter would mark the thing below which you cannot under any cirsumstance do/say so his sentence should be; "That is not a wise ting to think, let alone say".
He may think you a noob (and I kinda agree, it was a stange statement) but he seems to be a noob as well when it comes to English, or simple debating for that matter.

Man you are twisting logics again... 360 owners seem to like shooters (according to your sales numbers)... they bought and loved Gears one... bought tonns of Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 copys (which came out very close to each other) but a year later (with a larger userbase) they are done with shooters ??? You must be kidding on that one... you make less and less sense as this thread goes on...

Gears of War 2 sales: 2 to 3 million I said in the thread. DKII says 4 million.
Any other numbers? post your prediction please people.

BTW I accept 4 million copies of Gears of War 2 sounds about right. Bear in mind its a sequel a lot of other shooters and huge expectations to live up to.

 That's a pretty simple assumption.  Again, you're showing your bias by suggesting that the 360 shooter crowd won't pick up their flagship title of the year, but the smaller and "more diverse" PS3 crowd will flock to Resistance 2 despite the "killer" lineup of other titles that they have to choose from and can't shut up about.

As for Resistance 2 outselling GEOW2? I don't think it will happen.

I think both titles will have a shot at outselling their predecessor though.
