Today GFK released the list of best seller games in UK, as all monday. This was a very important week, with the release of the new game from the Call of Duty series, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. While the game got the second biggest launch of the year, only under FIFA 17, sales are very disappoint at least at retail. One of the worse launch for the series, indeed sales were barely over half of what sold the prior game, Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

That’s a very bad launch, expecially if we considering that while Black Ops III got amazing legs, and sold high numbers for months and months thanks a great word of mouth from main COD fans, becoming one of the most successfull game in the series, doesn’t looks like Infinite Warfare will have that luck, with a very bad perception from the fans, and most people were more interested to buy the remastered of the famous Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Here you can see the prior sales numbers, thanks the help of Bruno on NeoGaf:

[Week 45, 2007] CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE < 215,000 / NEW

Sales of Infinite Warfare at retail are 48.4% down compared to Black Ops III, which mean should be about 328,000 unit sold first week in UK at retail. It still got a better launch than Battlefield 1 though, which sold 259,000 unit at retail, while is now at 504,000 unit in total.
