Most people have different taste than you... I can't be satisfied playing FPS and sport tiles or even sandbox games. But those are the best sellers... are that ill information, dumb choices or different tastes? I would bet on the later one.
Yes you did, you said very explicitly that WiiU+3DS would put PS4 library to shame, if you think it's a amazing system with great sw it wouldn't be put to shame, it would only be surpassed (and that would be for your taste. Because for anyone that likes FPS and a lot of other genres the library would still be lackluster).
SW sales é sales of software, games... considering the amount of HW sold, X1 sells SW a lot better than 3DS or WiiU. So who have the customer perception of better system or games?

Well, that is your wish. But you know that Iwata said they aren't aiming for high performance for NX, and that would be in comparison to X1 not next gen. So it will be quite possible that it won't be that strong.
You say I'm naive but seem to ignore that if there would be money to be made EA wouldn't have any trouble organizing their team to port for it. You think they have the manpower to make a game specific to Scorpio that will launch in one year but wouldn't separate manpower during the whole past year to port for NX? Either it's hard to dev for or you are just pushing a narrative.

People are too afraid to get out of their comfort zones. I remember I thought Mario was for kids until my best friend in middle school let me borrow SM64. I thought Turok 2 was better than OoT until my second playthrough of OoT. Again, I borrowed it from a friend. But yeah, sports titles, FPS, and sandbox are easy to get into and understand. I definately see what you mean.

I know what Put to shame means. But contextualize it isn't simply to outdo, but to very much be a lot better. But ok, I'll accept that you just meant "a little better".
Look at VGC 3DS is at 22nd with 4.19 games per console sold and X1 is at 13th with 6.23 tie ratio... it's quite normal for Handhelds to sell less sw than console and Wii got severely outsold by X360 and even PS3 on SW even when they were 30% over them in HW (tie ratio is wii 9,54 PS3 11.18 X360 11.70 and Wii had all the Wii Sports and the like counted as sales).
