People are too afraid to get out of their comfort zones. I remember I thought Mario was for kids until my best friend in middle school let me borrow SM64. I thought Turok 2 was better than OoT until my second playthrough of OoT. Again, I borrowed it from a friend. But yeah, sports titles, FPS, and sandbox are easy to get into and understand. I definately see what you mean. Put to shame means to outdo or surpass, nothing more. http://www.dictionary.com/browse/put--to--shame XB1 software sells better per system then 3DS software? Link? |
I know what Put to shame means. But contextualize it isn't simply to outdo, but to very much be a lot better. But ok, I'll accept that you just meant "a little better".
Look at VGC 3DS is at 22nd with 4.19 games per console sold and X1 is at 13th with 6.23 tie ratio... it's quite normal for Handhelds to sell less sw than console and Wii got severely outsold by X360 and even PS3 on SW even when they were 30% over them in HW (tie ratio is wii 9,54 PS3 11.18 X360 11.70 and Wii had all the Wii Sports and the like counted as sales).
