Forums - Gaming Discussion - If CERN/NASA were to prove our universe is a simulation, how would it affect you?

I would likely have a lot more sex

Around the Network

I'd hack myself and everyone around me.

I would start offing people left and right. Possibly the ones doing the sims themselves. I don't want to live as a simulation. An ominopotent God is fine since He basically created everything but assholes that are probably sims themselves who were themselves created and die. No way I'd just give them GTA irl

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

I would search for my dna code (action replay code)

Kind of funny this thread gets bumped; watching Steins;Gate right now. Weird how that happens xD

Steins gate, where can I watch this? I thought it was just an overpriced graphic novel game. Should I start with the film or show?

I just started the anime today, never read the novel and never watched the movie either. xD

They won't. There is a serious misunderstanding about the concept of an emulated universe. Anything we may discover that breaks fundamental laws of physics could be, rather than an indication of an emulation, simply a misunderstanding on our part of aspects of physics that we still do not comprehend well. Unless we figure out what connects quantum phenomena and Einstenian physics, we will fundammentally be lacking a theoretical core that unites what is currently an understanding separated by different physics. Either one of the theories is incorrect, or both are. Both likelihoods are far greater than an inconsistent universe that could point to a simulation going awry.

Really wouldn't make a difference to me. I can only interact with the reality I'm presented with.

I want their computing power.
