I'm a Dragon Quest fan, thus inspiring my current avatar of choice as seen here:

This one was taken from the recent Dragon Quest Heroes which I just ordered from Amazon.  I love it (the avy), but it was a replacement for the original one here:

Obviously, this is a cosplay version of Maya from DQIV.  But the only reason it was replaced was because it was deleted by a mod (Admittedly, I'm assuming).  But yet I still have the current avy in use (so far).  One is a CG version while the other is of a human cosplayer.

Honestly from a principle standpoint, I don't see the difference between the two.  And from my standpoint if the CG version is "safe" enough for this site, so should the cosplay version, but the cosplay version was removed.  Maybe the mod that removed the original avy got too hot an bothered to handle it.  :P

Do you think the cosplay avy is too "hot" for this site, or is it just because the female cosplayer happens to be a very attractive woman?

Nope cause its fine for many other gaming sites but the nsfw rules are nonsense around here so... RIP your new one too! I have seen more lewd avatars in IGN forums which is a shit ton more popular site than vgc and it being allowed there but here... Its like derp. People have issues seeing a women's skin cause apparently, we are back in the 18th century

You lack self-awareness. You're literally posting this with your popsicle gif in your signature.

 

I agree that VGC is prudish sometimes, but it's not like they're any stricter than other major forums. Certainly more lax than any big one I can think of.

They certainly are... The popsicle gif isn't showing skin so its perfectly fine but if it were to show skin... Bam, it would have been taken down...

Like for example... I highly doubt this avatar would be allowed in vgc which imo, is a lot more lewd and suggestive than any of his avatars. It shows her side boob with a bare back and a slutty look.
