Just look at how this list brings us together! The soulless XBOX fans. The irrational Nintendo fans. The totally cool Playstation fans. This list has done something that not even Don Mattrick was able to do.

There's a real lack of transparency in how they put the list together.

It seems more of list of what the author considers influential and their favorite recent game. I mean RotTR is good -but top 20 greatest games of all time good? Zork and Pong were highly influential, but do they really hold any lasting appeal?

Lack of Chrono Trigger and Batman Arkham City is what I consider troubling.

Where is Skyrim ? It is one of the best games of all time.

Rise of the Tomb Raider? Really? The 18th best game of all time? By many accounts it's a very good game, but I'd be surprised if it made may people's all time top 20, or even top 50. Lots of TR fans prefer the 5th and 6th gen games over the reboots, so it's arguably not even the best TR game among franchise fans.

But I'm impressed that they had to balls not to make OoT the number 1.

Another garbo list, sweet.

The list seems like a combination of popularity, reputation, and influence constests, with some personal favorites springled in. Trying to be "objective" with games is hard. Also, no Paper Mario or TTYD? No Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix? No Undertale? No Crash Bandicoot 2? Not even a slight mention of Mother 3? Damn, if anything this list does nothing but make us apreciate our personal tastes a bit more.

That's a bad list.

I guess its better than Vgchartz GOTY last year.........
