Forums - Gaming Discussion - [NMS] Angry Joe reviews No Man's Sky

Is that center of the universe garbage legit? That's a pretty epic troll if accurate

It IS accurate. It could've only been worse if you just would've woken up and it was a "oh, it all was a dream in the end"-ending.

But imagine: this is the game of forever! The fun never ends in No Man's Sky because you play the same game again and again and again.

How can that not be fun!?

He definitely backed up his arguments in this one. But there is another YT vid that better delivers the same points across. Maybe someone linked it already but here it is anyways.

It may seem like a hating vid but in truth it puts the whole debacle in perspective. And the ending is epic!

“Simple minds have always confused great honesty with great rudeness.” - Sherlock Holmes, Elementary (2013).

"Did you guys expected some actual rational fact-based reasoning? ...you should already know I'm all about BS and fraudulence." - FunFan, VGchartz (2016)

He has some valid points in that video, just watch it. The funniest part is where he let's Sean talk about the center of the universe...

So perhaps try not to say anything about Joe as a person which you can like or not but say something about this review and what he actually says about that game.

I'll pass.

Good, then feel free to just express your feelings about Joe and ignore what this thread is about.

You know....just yesterday a certain user was bitching about people coming into a thread just to complain. Somebody must have hijacked his account cus sure enough I swear he came in here just to complain. Mods should investigate this matter. Can't just sit idly by while accounts are being hacked!

Making a massive game through randomised generators was always going to end up in failure, at least if you wanted a decent story ou of it. You need to craft a campaign on places that you know, not random planets. Promising a story of sorts was pretty much a lie, they couldn't make it if they don't know where they were making it.

I still think that, out of all this kind of games, the best one is still Spore. Sure, the modes are short and shallow, buch each of them has a good idea behind them if someone developes it.

We need a new Spore .-.

Well what you except? Another overhyped and overpromising western game bites the dust

I love the game and I love the AJ review. The reality of this game sucks of you think about it. There isn't much to do, but there is a hook and when you get hooked, you end up spending tons of time on it as mediocre as the game is.

It reminds me of destiny a lot a game that had huge potential but too much was left out in the end. It was fun whilst it lasted, but the dlc killed the game for me.

I'm hoping HG do a better job of updating it very soon with other mechanics such as base building, mp, customising ships etc.

I've got a feeling they might show a huge update at the PS meeting in September along with a VR update for the game.

However, at the moment this game is the candy crush of the PS4. It's simple and repetitive, yet for those who get into it has that hook that keeps them invested.

Fantasic comment and one i fully agree with. Even tho it IS repetetive.... i couldnt stop. Honestly all he needs to do is give us what was originally promised first.

Why? You seem to be happy with it how it already is.

If he wants to bring in all the stuff he promised, this game would be almost completely different to what it is now. And it's doubtful they will change the "ending" of the game.

Just because he enjoys the game in its current state doesn't mean he wouldn't enjoy it more with more features added...
