Forums - Gaming Discussion - Less Than One Percent Of No Man’s Sky Players Reported Issues

Doesn't really speak to the amount of people who have had issues. I've never "reported" issues on any game I've ever bought, even if it did have issues.

I'm kind of curious about how many people have had crashes on PS4 considering I've had at least a dozen, and perhaps as many as twenty of them since I started playing. Majority being when I jump between systems, but also had a couple of the 'left the menu too fast' crashes, one crash that just randomly happened while flying, and one time I found a multitool blueprint dispenser that crashed the game. And I mean regularly. Just to test it out, tried the dispenser three times, every time the game crashed. JUST that one dispenser, the one in the building next door worked fine. (And if anyone wants to know, I'm only counting those three as 'one' crash when I say at least a dozen, as the other two I brought on myself. ;P )

So, yeah, if it were only one or two crashes I could see the majority of people having zero issues, but the game is such a mess on my system, I'm jealous of people who have had zero problems on identical hardware. =P

Zanten, Doer Of The Things

Unless He Forgets In Which Case Zanten, Forgetter Of The Things

Or He Procrascinates, In Which Case Zanten, Doer Of The Things Later

Or It Involves Moving Furniture, in Which Case Zanten, F*** You.

I've been averaging about 1 crash per hour on ps4. They come in waves though. Sometimes it hangs on startup, fresh system boot, then the next attempt it loads fine. Doesn't make sense.

Even with the latest patch installed?

1.04 crashed twice so far, yesterday in options after an hour. Today in options in the first minute.

I haven't been playing as much though, I'm crashing myself, need to catch up on sleep. I just nodded off trying to find the last species on a different planet. It must be bugged, I've been flying around for over an hour again, day/night/high/low/caves/underwater/storm. I've even been looking on top of those giant floating rocks high in the sky. There were animals there (already discovered) bugged and spazzing out.

My 2 biggest issues atm are, some sort of tech to swim faster, and a better way to find species.

What percentage of people generally bother to report issues on a buggy game? Most people just deal with it.

I don't have the game so I can't say anything about it, but most people don't bother to report issues even when a game is virtually unplayable. They just stop playing the game.

Probably cause most people are playing on ps4 and it seems to be running much better on console.

Even before the patch, i only had 1 freeze. I've got about 45 hours in so far, on PS4, but i'm only one system past the first monolith where Atlas wants to speak to you.

So there are people who don't hit the 'Report' button every time a game crashes? I don't understand... you just press the X button a few times, and maybe your issue will get patched away in the future, it takes like no time or effort to report at all.

Me: One crash in 3 days
Son: No crashes in 3 days

I'm very happy with the update although it only addressed 70% of the problems as Sean Murray said.

The PS5 Exists.
