You dont buy for future games at this point, you buy it for the games it already has, I'll be surprised if anyone buying now could play all the decent games in it's libary over the next year, it would be a momentus gaming enterprise :)

This is acually a good time to buy, it already has a huge library of great games that you dont have to wait for, with many that are cheaper if you can find them, waitig too long and you will miss some as they become rare at lower prices 

Waiting will only dissapoint you, waiting is time lost when you could be playing some of those great Wii U games now when you can still find them 

well yeah. that would be the only logical reason
but in that case it's just way to expensive as a backlog machine

Wait, most of the Wii U's big games will likely be ported to the NX. Plus it really isn't that great of a console. I don't think I've touched my Wii U for over a month.  The 3DS is a much better console if you plan on buying something and I find myself playing pretty much everyday.  It also has a much better Pokemon selection than the Wii U.

I'd wait until at least NX gets announced. That way, you will know if the Wii U games are getting ported, if they are bc, and also, if you don't like NX, after it is announced I'm sure Wii U prices will go down.

Buy one, you can't go wrong. Look up the top 20 best selling games and there you have your must buy games.

Dead console means that all the games that had already been released on it don't count anymore?
