"ISIS is under control." - 'Murica

As long as they can buy cheap oil, they are okay with them, as long as they dont grow too big.

Same with Turkey, they supported them, because they got cheap oil.

The only guys that are like "these people have to go" is Russia.

Obama is too much of a pussy to do anything and Hilary sure as fuck won't do anything either... Guess its all up to Putin.

Thanks to USA for creating a real democracy in IRAQ. Destroyed the country for a made up WMD lie. ISIS existed because of the wrongful doing of USA.

you realize that not only did sadam have WMDs, but we found and confiscated tons of them, right?

Yeah right, you seem to be sarcastic and doesnt care about people lifes. Poor people over there, they must be thinking now that living under saddam was a much better option, at least security was established, food, water, and gas (yeah gas) were available. People now are getting killed in masses in Iraq for no other reason than American Democracy and a big lie of WMD's.

Americans should pay to fix all of the damage they have done to the Middle East, causing all of the problems of today. They should be held accountable for their crimes of their illegal war.

The UN, specifically France, determined that Iraq had no WMDs, and that military invasion of the country would be the worst possible thing because of the incalculable damage it would do to the stability of the Middle East. They worried that it would be inviting guerilla extremist groups to come to power triggering additional warfare leading to an up fathomable refugee crisis.

The American response was to ridicule France and French people, like a bunch of prejudiced idiots. It was widespread hatred in the US. This is why the US should pay. They are in debt to the Middle East for causing all of today's catastrophes that the UN predicted would happen.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Yeah, and what the fuck will he solve? Bomb the entire place to high hell. He'll solve the problem of ISIS, but he'll create thousands of new radicalized muslims in the process, and it'll come back and bite everyone in the ass in a couple years. It's painfully obvious to see how this cycle goes. When we bomb an area where there lives civilians, what about the relatives and children or parents of those that died in the bombing? They won't just go like "well they had to do it" (which btw, we don't!), no, instead it will spark a hatred for western civilisation and voila, you have created more terrorists. Thanks Putin, you sure saved our asses out there!

Local boots on the ground will have to fight this fight. Kurds, turks etc. If only western countries wouldn't be too fucking scared of co-operating with Kurdistan because they're afraid to piss of Turkey.

But yes, Obama is a pussy. Just getting tired of people who think what Putin is doing will solve shit. It won't.

how can you call it a lie, when it is a varifiable fact that sadam had and used WMDs, and the we later found and confiscated WMDs. cognative dissonance much?

You're both correct in certain ways. Although I felt strongly that the mere presence of 'WMDs' was a shaky/nebulous reason to make the GARGANTUAN kind of step like invasion/occupation. Saddam was a stabilizing influence on the region. Yes, he was a terrible person, and I really feel bad for how the Kurdish people have been treated all the way back to Churchill's era and even before. But in 2002-2003, was Iraq really worth targeting? To be blatantly honest, Pakistan, Sudan, and Syria ALL had either WMDs/Radical Terrorists, or both, to a degree that the relatively stable borders of Iraq didn't compare to.

And if you're going to invade, at least do it right. I remember when the Neocon political establishment shit-canned Eric Shinseki for giving an honest military answer : you need 500,000 or more personnel to occupy and stabilize Iraq. Dummy Rumsfeld & Co invaded with a fraction of that. And of course the result was that tons of infrastructure was destroyed, and unguarded weapons/ammo were stolen by people who turned around and used them against the coalition forces and on their own people.

I wish that was the end of the stupidity, but we then disbanded the Iraqi army instead of training them. Almost nobody was in Saddam's army (outside of Republican Guard) who was any kind of diehard Saddam loyalist, they were there because it was a steady paycheck, and ironically because they thought it was a safe place to be (Saddam had behaved himself after the first Gulf War overall).

Result? We took the income and security away from nearly a million men, in a nation of chaos, so they took their weapons and became easy recruitment targets for terrorist groups.

The invasion of Iraq should have never happened, as there is virtually zero good, and IMMENSE bad that came from it.

But hey, at least Halliburton and KBR got those big sweet contracts, am I right?

It's crazy what these Islamic extremists do. And the worst thing is they kill a lot more of their fellow muslims than they do non muslims. Like do they really think they're going to heaven for this.

You know I sometimes wish God does actually exists just so he can give these clowns a right old spanking before sending them to hell for eternity.

Saddam kept shit at shoe level.

Iraq will always be America's greatest blunder.

The secret 28 pages will just further prove that the USA invaded the wrong country.
