Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Devil’s Third Online support getting cut soon

Although this games is rubbish, I think I've seen bad games with more years of servers running.

God bless You.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

There were three ravens sat on a tree / They were as blacke as they might be / The one of them said to his mate, Where shall we our breakfast take?

That sucks..I mean I was going to get it at some point mainly for the multiplayer. Better get it soon then.

It's a shame. I always had curiosity about this game and would have definitively tried the multiplayer. The whole game looks very fun.

Damn quickest death of an online component ever?

It's definitely way better than reviewers claim it to be and the multiplayer is fantastic. Too bad that reviewers only care about shiny graphics while ignoring the fun factor and ignoring what this game was supposed to be. And too bad that so many players blindly follow the reviewers without opening up their mind themselves. These are sad news but they were inevitable.

Reviewers only care about graphics? Is that why The Order 1886 has 67 metacritic, and so many Wii U games are highly rated?

C'mon man. I've seen the game in motion and its one of the most horrid games in terms of everything, from my experience not a single redeemable quality in this game.

Well, the graphics are what reviewers criticized the most and the harshest. And yes, that's why the Order 1886 got that high because the graphics are that games' only value considering it mostly plays itself apart of some shooting sequences. I'm not downplaying it since there are surely many players who like just that, but that's not my cup.

Devil's Third wanted to deliver seamless transitions between tps and fps, and that's exactly what it achieved. If anyone doesn't like the setting, the story, the b-movie flair, the cheesy one-liners, the ranked missions, the collectibles, the references to other media, the great soundtrack, the challenging difficulty, the insanely crazy mp modes, or Jane Doe's ass, then that's all hardly debatable since all of that is personal taste, I guess.

Your last paragraph is your opinion, my opinion differs. I liked it so much that I finished it four times till now. I wonder if anybody ever finished The Order even twice.

You clearly haven't played The Order. It was underrated for what it was. Besides graphics it had an amazing atmosphere to it, a great soundtrack, the shooting mechanics were spot on and the story was decent. The voice acting was amazing. It has its fair share of problems but it was pretty good.

I didn't like anything I played of Devil's Third at a local store. The shooting mechanics was awful, game was glitchy as hell, script was terrible and it tried to sell itself through some sexualised characters. That doesn't work for me. It had nothing good about it AT ALL.

I've finished The Order once, but I couldn't even complete the one hour playthrough I had paid to the store to play the game. It was that bad.

Nintendo funded this game right? Maybe this is why Nintendo don't like working with 3rd partys lel.

at least we have the singleplayer unlike with other games

That's a lot faster than I would have expected though I'm sure the online users playing it isn't that high anyways :/

There's way more wrong with Devil's Third than just the graphics. Controls are stiff, the choppy framerate directly impacts gameplay, AI is moronic, glitches are abundant, voice acting/story are atrocious, level designs are tedious.
