Forums - Gaming Discussion - Legend Of Zelda most talked E3 game on social media

Nice! I'm still spoiler-free, can't wait to play the game and see what is all about. I wonder if Nintendo's strategy about doing a heavily Zelda-only focused E3 was all about not dividing the attention to give NX a great start with Zelda. It seemed to work.

I couldn't care less about my opinion, what I want is good data ...

Plain garbage is what I'm seeing ...

official Twitter data confirming the first picture. Also garbage?

I think it is garbage in the sense that it does not mean anything. For example, FIFA is the more important game and yet only ranks behind Zelda? Personally, what I perceive from this picture is that Nintendo fans use twitter a lot.

Well, Pokemon is skewed towards a very young audience. But was there a Pokemon game?

It was the #1 trend on twitter and trending on Facebook, so I'm not surprised.

Zelda is still one of those games that almost everyone loves, but it's not been enough to sell a lot people on an entire console (few games really are).

I do think it was wise to include it as a launch title for the Nx, though. Depending on what else they reveal for the launch lineup (must be a fairly good number of games given they've revealed none so far), it might be enough to really win people over if they actually advertise. Missing the holidays could hurt pretty bad, though... people aren't looking to make large purchases early in the year heh

Still, very cool to see Zelda getting a lot of attention! :)

Tax refunds...😉

It puts Zelda in a good light, so of course it's garbage.

Expected, you can get x amount of posts per conference.

if x is split between 15 games it's going to be lower than the conference where x is just 1 game.

I'm not sure that's really true though, or at elast it can't really be proven...

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
