That is genuinely shocking. I'd expect mid to lower 80s. I love the design and gameplay but it feels lacking for somebody who isn't big of MP. At least for now, I can't justify dropping full price on it.

Its at 94? Wow, if it drops one more %, we need to create a petition

But seriously, that's a higher score than I was predicting. Well deserved at $40 though

Awesome to hear. Wasn't on my radar. Now it is.

If there's one thing I like to give Blizzard credit for (I'm a big fan), it's that there's a certain personality or charm unique to Blizzard games that shows up in everything they develop. I really don't know what it is, but when you play one of their games you'd know they made it without checking.

I suppose they're generally just really polished with a humor and style all their own. Not really surprised Overwatch is rating this well.

I'm assuming that this is one of those times where a game gets scored well without the media taking price into account. I enjoyed the beta but I don't see a $60 experience here, with all due respect to the game.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

Expecting high 80s when its all said and done.
I can see this being one of those games I spend hundreds of hours playing, especially if post launch content is handled well.

Game is doing crazy good, now I really want it. D:

I think that's hard to judge until we see how long the community sticks with it.

To me, the best way to judge if a game should be full price or not isn't the cost of development (which was actually absurdly high for this game) or the visuals, but rather how many hours of fun it provides the person who buys it.

If the average person who winds up purchasing this goes on to get 100's of hours of enjoyment out of it, it's certainly worth full price more than some game like The Order 1866, which was beautiful but pretty much over in ten hours. It's why I had no issue with Splatoon!'s price, a game that has perhaps the most obsessive fanbase of any I've seen in years.

That's just my opinion anyway. We get too hung up on trying to assign a price instead of focusing on how much enjoyment we'll get out of the game, which is the only thing that actually matters.

I'm still a little shocked at Blizzard not sending review copies.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.
