Can mods change avatars?

If so, i think those that don't change their avatars to crows should get their avatars changed to a generic picture of a chicken. xD

They can remove them at least, but still do you think the moderation team should really be a part of name calling on here? I doubt that would be a good idea.

I really don't get why some people are beeing salty. Its a game. They were wrong, theres no two ways a bout it. Everyone is wrong now and again. Its nothing to get stuck on. Just laugh it up and have some fun. Its just videogames! Theres nothing to get so serious about.

This was a really fun event. I hope that people don't ruin it or there will be no more games like this.

Too bad there wasn't a thread that pinned down all the people here who believed Nintendo was intending to support the Wii U for a full 5 year cycle and didn't drop it like a red-headed stepchild in favor of the NX years ago.

That was the real crux of the argument, Nintendo delaying something a few months isn't really any kind of meaningful debate because Nintendo can delay anything at any time and everyone knows that. Miitomo, a freaking smartphone app, got delayed by 2-3 months, lol. Arguing over that is like arguing over whether or not it will rain at some point this spring.

The debate was always whether Nintendo had internally abandoned the Wii U prematurely in favor of fast tracking the NX project ... and it's clear now they did bail out. This is why E3 2015 sucked balls, this is why E3 2016 is a complete embarrassment for Nintendo, this is why you're never getting a (non-shit) Animal Crossing or Metroid or Mario Galaxy 3 on Wii U, this is why most of Nintendo's core internal teams have not had a new Wii U project announced in almost two full years now (this should have been a pretty big fucking red flag) -- mystery solved.

Damn it, I'm on that list! All these years without changing my avatar, and now this. The shame! Just... just give me some time to paint up a crow for myself. I've never drawn a Crow before. It should at least be good practice.

Knew I should've said early 2017...

i don t even know how to make an avatar but if someone can do it for me ill be willing to use it   -  i clearly said 2016-   however I did add that i felt Nintendo had every intention of releasing 2016 and they did plan on it  (per last quarters inestor Q and A/briefing) -   unless they had an unexpected delay-  which is obviously the situation

Just find some pic that you want with a crow in it then save it to your comp and go to http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/settings/profile-picture/ to change it.

ok thanks  i appreciate it and will do it tonight

IMO a March release date for NX makes it a wash and all bets are cancelled. It's possible Nintendo was targeting holiday 2016 but just couldn't make it work, but ain't no PR ever going to admit to that. So in terms of aspiration the 2016 people may have been right. But because NX is being released in 2017 it makes the 2017 people technically right, but not necessarily aligned with Nintendo's original target.

So I think crow should be off the menu, and everyone should get served chicken, because everyone played chicken with the launch time, and Nintendo flinched by splitting the difference.

You have been asking for it all the time with your sig, tho, should be prepared to when it came

lmao! I didn't even notice that. In hindsight that's pretty hilarious. It's just a few short weeks until GoT finally supplies me with a new signature gif too.

I guess it really does come down to if the page was edited before or after his post.

No, because the OP still doesn't say anything about a bet.
