I'm getting a new tv REALLY soon. But sometimes I think its not worth it and im wasting my money lol. I currently own a 32 inch 720p tv. I want an upgrade to a 32 inch 1080p TV so I can fully enjoy the FULL resolution of the PS4. This is the TV Im planning on getting

Is it worth upgrading? If you find a better tv around that price let me know!

I am also willing to go up to 42 inches if  you find a good tv deal!

330$ for a 32" television? You may as well save a bit more $$$ for a 4k TV.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Night and day bro.

Totally worth it.

How much money you have? 32 is far to small to go out and buy new if you don't have kids

Not really. A good 720p TV can still look good. The gap between 720p and 1080p is noticeable but not eye changing and both 720p and 1080p is last gen. 4k is the future and soon everything will be 4k.

Unless you're looking at your TV from a really close distance, upgrading might not make much sense. It's a small TV and you won't be able to notice the difference unless you're really close to the TV. Of course a new TV might have visibly better image quality even otherwise, but you won't get the benefits of the better resolution.

You should get at least 37" for 1080p.

720p is ideal for current consoles

1080 is a noticeable and worthwhile improvement over 720p assuming the TV is large enough.

On a 32 inch TV I wouldn't recommend it because the screen is too small.

Also, $330 is too much for a tv of that size. Give me a few minutes and I'll post some good choices in the same price range.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

In my experience it depends on content, TV quality, viewing distance, and of course screen size (there are charts online for the latter two). If you have the money to burn, it might not be a bad idea; but it being worth it is relative, if you're thinking you might regret it, I'd hold off.

Honestly, I cant really tell and playing on 720p or 1080p hasnt been a significant change. I can tell when games arent using post processing effects to hide jaggies, that looks bad at any resolution.

I dont know the prices where you are at. But I often see TVs on sale for around $200, 32 to 40 inches depending on brand.

I'd say size is more significant than resolution. I think 40" is the ideal size.
