I got 20/20 vision the last time I got tested in 2013. But I'm supposed to wear glasses I haven't worn in 5 years or so because I have a myopia, which I think got way worse. I can read things from 5-6 feet from me, I can watch things from a distance without looking blurry. I have problems whenever the professor puts up a presentation on the screen or when he writes stuff on the dryboard. I need to get in the first row to read it properly, as going second row or further makes a slightly blurry mess. I need glasses to look at a distance, that's all.

I'm remember being told that I was -3.00.

I have great/normal eyesight.

I also work in the optical industry (contact lens manufacturing) so seeing all of you with poor eye sight just tells me that I won't have to worry about my job any time soon. :)

I wore glasses time to time, mainly just to see far distance (driving/watching movies), but I had laser eye surgery last year and now everything is just so much better. Freedom.

Not great but not terrible either. I can see but I can't make over fine details over long distances so I need glasses especially for driving and my university lectures.

Had glasses for about sixteen years now, since I was, I think, 12. Maybe 13. Anyway, tried contacts for a year or two half a decade ago but I didn't really liked it much, I mean it's convenient to not having to wear glasses, but they really strained my eyes at the end of each day.

I need glasses for further away, everything beyond 1 to 1.5 meters becomes increasingly blurry. Don't know how the US system with "20/20" thing works, but in our scale I have -3.00 more or less. The left eye being noticably better than the right though; -2.00 on the left, -3.25 on the right. They get worse every time I get it checked, sadly, don't remember what I had when I first got my glasses but it was probably still in the -1's.

I blame gaming and tv.

For reading though they're still great. I can read the tiniest letters perfectly clear. I would need to take off my glasses to see more clearly up close.

Right eye: 20/20
Left eye: nearsighted

Well, I don't need glasses, so I'm good. I also eat my carrots, so that's better

I'm slightly nearsighted, not a big deal though and almost always wear my glassses.

And i'd appreciate not to be eaten. Wont improve your eyesight anyway. :-p

If you're not sure of your eye sight, get glasses. Much better upgrade than any new tv or monitor! Except maybe some girls might not looks as good as you had imagined...
