Rugby is not worth the future consequenses. like CTE https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronic_traumatic_encephalopathy . I used to love boxing and playing contact, no rules football (Proper football, not the american eggball) and after watching a neighbour get punch drunk in their late fourties was horrible and just recently I watched the movie Concussion, scary stuff.

Might as well stay in playing games, huh? :P

Hmm, pie.

Downhill Bikes/biking.

Motocross.

eBikes.

Just converted Giant DH bike to electric actually.

Love anything with speed and two wheels. Lycra Clad Road bikes not included. *Shudders*

I'm just saying it is a horrible thing to see happen to someone and doctors saying everything is fine, its in his head. I just can't imagine what it would be like to experience, no wonder there is such a high suicide rate, I know I'd off myself if it started happening to me.

In many sports, safety of participants is high priority especially when it comes to head injuries. In both Rugby and football (soccer) the ref will stop play if they suspect a head injury, even if it's nothing.

But even with the risks people do these sports to enjoy themselves. Everyone knows the risks of boxing (which have increased since boxers have padding on their hands so they can keep punching) yet people still love to do it. Just wish the refs were more causious.

Hmm, pie.

Nice, same here but I ussually end up finding a great spot for shooting some photo's and going downhill with 2000+ quid of camera equipment strapped to your back makes things very nerveracking, fortuately when I do head out without the camera I have such a fantastic mountain range starting near my family home and leading for miles up north, covered in forestry roads (sprayed so there no long grass or weeds and these lead into incredible patchs tracks that the forestry made while working there and nature has reclaimed. I would love to do more but I just get side tracked with my camera. Speaking of which, have you tried photography?

Living in rural Australia... I have thousands and thousands and thousands of kilometers/miles of Cliffs, Sand Dunes, Woodlands and Beach to just go stupid. :)

And nah. Photography doesn't tickle my fancy. Which is a shame considering where I am located and the beautifull landscape. But you know. Brap brap.
