Masahiro Sakurai is also working on a game.

But seriously, I still think home console NX is coming earlier than the handheld. Nintendo needs to replace the WiiU ASAP, the 3DS still has some life into it.

I like the sound of this rumor. Hope it's true.

For a company that is trying to unify platforms, these rumors seems to point to a lot of separation between the two devices.

Nintendo have said their intention was to make it easier to port games. All of these rumors of "one cartridge, two specifications" are based on wishful thinking from Nintendo fans.
